Ride a cable car to the summit of Srd Hill for spectacular aerial views of Dubrovnik’s magnificent Old Town. You’ll have a unique perspective on one of Croatia’s most famous landmarks.

Today you’ll set sail from Dubrovnik for Ston, a coastal town perched on the slender, finger-like peninsula of Pelješac. Get a feel for your new yacht as you enjoy the warm waters and temperate winds of the Adriatic. Drop anchor in the beautiful waters of Uvala Lopud and enjoy lunch at one of the beachside restaurants before sailing on to Ston. You’ll have enough time to explore Ston’s city walls, the second longest defensive walls in the world, before settling in for a glass of wine on deck.

Seashells and salt flats

Famous for cultivating seashells and oysters, Ston is the perfect place to sample these delectable treats. Head for Mali Ston, a smaller town on the northern side of Pelješac peninsula, and choose from an array of local restaurants to dine in.

Anchor in the wide, tree-fringed bay of Uvala Lopud and enjoy swimming and snorkelling in the true-blue waters, then head to the sandy beach to enjoy lunch at one of the traditional restaurants.

Sail from Ston, Pelješac to the tiny fishing village of Pomena on the seductive island of Mljet. As you reach the northern shores of Mljet, stop for swimming and snorkelling in the warm waters that caress the coastline. You’ll finish your night in the sheltered cove of beautiful Pomena. Backed by a dense Aleppo pine forest, this lovely village offers a handful of restaurants and shops to explore.

Spectacular salt lakes

From Pomena you’re just a 15-minute walk from the two spectacular saltwater lakes of Mljet National Park. Swim in the lakes then stroll along the pleasant, shaded paths that encircle them. Catch the boat at Malo Jezero to the 12th century monastery on Sveta Marija Island.

The quiet fishing village of Prožurska Luka is a perfect place to stop for a bite to eat. Anchor in the peaceful waters and enjoy a picnic on the beach shaded by dense pine trees.

A short hop from Pomena, this leg of your bareboat sailing holiday takes just you to the quiet coves, luscious vineyards and sheltered beaches of Korčula. Stop along the way for swimming and snorkelling on the island of Badija, then explore the island’s 14th century Franciscan monastery. Back on your yacht, set sail for the lively town of Korčula. Here you’ll find museums, galleries and fine restaurants within the beautiful cobbled streets and defensive walls of the town.

As you cruise the waters between Pomena and Korčula town, you’ll pass the tiny island of Badija. The southern tip of this idyllic island is fringed with numerous beaches perfect for a picnic lunch.

Leave Korčula town and sail again for the peninsula of Pelješac—this time to the town of Trstenik. Along the way you’ll pass scenic mountains and seascapes with beautiful beaches that will tempt you to drop anchor and go for a swim. Once in Trstenik, wine buffs will enjoy sampling the famous Plavac Mali red while relaxing at waterside restaurants.

Finish your yacht charter holiday back in Dubrovnik, where you can use your remaining time to take the cable car from the north of the city walls to Mt. Srđ. You’ll have magnificent views over the terracotta-tiled rooftops of Dubrovnik’s Old Town towards the island of Lokrum.
