Sunsail 41.0 - 3 cabin 1 head

Sunsail is delighted to announce 12 brand new Sunsail 41.0 yachts from our UK base in Portsmouth, available from March 2020. These yachts will form the only true one design fleet in the UK and the most modern one design fleet in the world. They are available for bareboat cruising charters, including our new UK flotillas, racing charters and RYA training courses. 

Regardless whether your passion is racing or cruising, the 41.0 – 3 Cabin has several features that make it the ideal vessel for any sailor. Taking inspiration from modern racing boats, this vessel is perfectly matched for an exciting racing experience, but is equally well suited to cruising charters with family and friends. It also provides a great platform for RYA courses.

With a deck construction that boasts 30% weight savings compared to traditional decks, this stunning monohull from the Jeanneau Sun Odyssey range is balanced, responsive, spacious and rewarding to helm.  

Although it can sleep up to 9 people, this yacht can be sailed or raced with a further crew member onboard to give a total crew size of 10. This makes it the perfect vessel for corporate sailing and racing events.  

The 41.0 – 3 Cabin has been specially modified for racing and cruising and is only available in the UK.  

This yacht is available for Sunsail UK corporate sailing events and sailing courses.

Modifications

• Removable cockpit table fitted, which allows for extra space when racing or can be left in position for cruising (cockpit tables not available in 2020)
• Removal of bow sprit
• Symmetrical spinnaker with spinnaker pole
• Laminate mainsail for better race performance
• Removal of self-tacking jib for better head sail trim for racing and cruising
• Main trim modifications to allow for better mainsail trim
• Addition of 2 additional winches to allow simultaneous main sail and jib trim
• Heating added  
• 3 cabins, 1 head

Additional information

Convertible Saloon: This yacht has a convertible saloon which is included as a double berth in the maximum capacity.

Skipper/Cook: A hired skipper can use the forepeak in all destinations excluding Bahamas where they will require an interior cabin. If your yacht does not have a forepeak, skippers will require an interior cabin.

Air Conditioning: No
