The Jeanneau Sun Odyssey 490 combines many of the same features and innovations that made its previous models so popular among sailors. The completely new architectural shape and design was created by Philippe Briand to offer optimal on-board comfort, ease of movement and sleek modern finishes.
Each of the four spacious cabins includes a private head, plenty of storage and adequate head room. The contemporarily-styled Sun Odyssey 490 comfortably sleeps up to 10 guests including crew.
On deck, the sloping wraparound side decks allow for safe and seamless movement between the cockpit, foredeck and living spaces.

Convertible Saloon: Yes, this yacht has a convertible saloon which is included as a double berth in the maximum capacity.
Forepeaks: This yacht has two forepeaks accessible through the forward cabins. They are not separated from the forward cabins, are very small and are only suitable for a small child or extra storage. They are not recommended as berths for your charter and are not included in the maximum capacity of your yacht.
Skipper/Cook: A hired skipper can use the forepeak in all destinations excluding Bahamas where they will require an interior cabin. If your yacht does not have a forepeak, skippers will require an interior cabin.
